Christine's Record

 Christine takes her role as Clerk of Elections for Monmouth County very seriously, and ensuring election security and educating voters about the elections process are a major part of her mission as County Clerk.  Her legal background and work as a prosecutor provide a solid foundation for her success in election management. Though faced with numerous challenges created by changes to the elections process in the periods during and after the pandemic, Christine's leadership has made every transition seamless for Monmouth County. 

• MonmouthCountyVotes.com Website: Recognizing the need for a comprehensive voting resource for Monmouth County voters, Chrisine drove all phases of development of this courtesy elections website that offers forms, deadlines, election results and more. 
• Training Municipal Leaders: Christine hosts workshops for clerks of our municipalities to deliver vital training needed to promote election integrity on the local level. 
• BallotTrax: Christine provided access for Monmouth County residents to BallotTrax, the only enhanced tracking system in the state that provides notifications for vote-by-mail voters as to the status of their ballot, a capability not offered by the state’s ballot tracking system. 
• PSAs: As Clerk, Christine has provided numerous public service announcement campaigns that inform the public about voting information and elections resources available to Monmouth County residents. 
• Voter Education Resources: Christine provides the public with a comprehensive collection of voter education videos to help voters understand the voting process.
• First-Time Voter Guide: Christine developed this free printed resource for high school students or any first-time voter to help them navigate the entire process, from registering to vote to the three ways to vote in New Jersey.  
• Early Voting: The implementation of Early Voting mandated by state law in 2021 prompted Christine to take action with a comprehensive education campaign that resulted in Monmouth County leading the state with Early Voting turnout for four consecutive years.
• Election Law Expertise: As an attorney with a background in election law, Christine is a leader in the state with respect to understanding and compliance with ever-changing election laws. 
• Emergency Preparedness:  Christine is a subject matter expert on emergency-planning practices to ensure our elections are protected.
