Christine is a staunch proponent of fiscal responsibility and efficiency in government. Under her leadership, the revenue generated by the Monmouth County Clerk's Office far exceeds its spending. In fact, year after year, the revenue of the office has exceeded the costs of operation by millions of dollars. Christine has engineered this achievement by consolidating units within the office, implementing cross-training of staff, investing in time-saving technology and cutting the workforce without sacrificing services. Highlights of her fiscal and operational achievements include:
- Record-Setting Revenue: Revenue generated just in 2024 alone by recording division, passport office and other services surpassed $111 million, a $12 million increase from the previous year that significantly exceeded operating costs.
- Workforce Consolidation: Through cross-training, Christine effectively delivered an overall staff reduction without compromising service levels or revenue.
- Shared Services Programs: Christine oversees participation in the County’s Shared Services program by the Clerk’s Records Management division which maintains the County’s Open Public Records Search system and provides countywide services to help contain costs for municipalities and eliminate redundancies.
- Stimulated Growth of Online Systems: Property recordings have reached 79% for online filings, a record high under Christine’s direction, improving operational efficiency and helping with staff reduction.
- Reduced Wait Times: Turnaround time for recording of documents has been cut thanks to strategic investments in new technologies.
- Call Center Implementation: Christine improved customer service with efficiency, streamlining operations by funneling inquiries to an in-house call center to assist residents with information and services needed in an expedited fashion.
