As Monmouth County Clerk, Christine is considered the county's "Keeper of the Records," and she has gone above and beyond to ensure our history is preserved for future generations.
The Monmouth County Archives: One of the County Clerk's five divisions headed by Clerk Hanlon, the Monmouth County Archives houses Monmouth's most precious historical artifacts dating back to the 1600s. Christine has been instrumental in modernizing the Manalapan facility to ensure these important assets are protected and preserved.
Archives & History Day: Christine orchestrates this annual event every fall inviting the public to celebrate our county's history, coordinating participation among dozens of local historical associations.
Remembering September 11th: To memorialize the significant impact Monmouth County endured by the tragic events of 9/11, Christine produced a documentary to commemorate the 20th anniversary. "Monmouth County, 9/11, and Its Aftermath," serves as an educational tool for our area schools and is available to the public on YouTube.
Superstorm Sandy: Christine also produced "The Jersey Storm: Sandy in Monmouth County" which features never-before-seen footage taken in the aftermath of Sandy and interviews with the Monmouth County officials, first responders, and residents who lived through it to preserve in a modern format the historical event.
